Ways to Serve in the Music Ministry

ADULT CHOIR
The worship choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:15 for practice which lasts about an hour and a half. Then they lead at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. The Adult Choir is also involved in special programs for Christmas and Easter. Currently the adult choir is not meeting per regular schedule.

FBC PRAISE TEAM
Our praise band and team adds to our worship every Sunday morning. Any experienced musician is welcomed per audition. The praise team leads worship at the 11a sanctuary contemporary service and will be involved in special musical projects through the year such as Christmas and Easter.

YOUTH CHOIR
This is an age graded music program for grades 7-12th. Youth choir meets on Sunday afternoon at 4:45 and produces special presentations as well as singing in occasional Sunday worship gatherings. After youth choir rehearsal on Sundays the students are served a light supper after. Adult helpers, supper preparers, and youth members make this ministry possible.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
This is an age graded music program for children in grades 1-6th. This choir meets on Wednesday nights at 5:00 and produces special presentations as well as the occasional special music on a Sunday morning worship gathering. A children’s choir director, adult helpers, and children members make this ministry possible.

AUDIO/VISUAL TEAMS
People who are familiar with sound mixing or video equipment are needed to run the sound booth during worship and special events. Serving in this booth requires focus and dedication.
