Saturday Breakout Sessions

Come Boldly

Dr. Christopher Ryan

(morning two sessions only!)

Throughout Scripture, God shows us the strong faith of those who will come boldly before Him. Both men and women, with a strong faith in all God can do, find themselves at Jesus’ feet believing for His promises. Is it possible to have bold faith in a culture that doubts everything? Is it possible to walk in extreme faith and boldly come before Abba Father in this age of doubt and self-reliance? What happens when a believer boldly comes before the King of Kings?

Music in the Bible Part 2

Greg Burrell

From Genesis to Revelation, scripture is filled with music. During this session, we will discover how God uses music as a way for us to connect with Him, to share the Gospel message, and how music is an avenue for us to help hide His Word in our hearts. We will take a look at several of the Davidic Psalms and other poetic works in the Old and New Testament.

Theology of the Bible

Garth Forster

Everything we believe comes out of the Bible. That being true, it is important that we understand why we can depend on the Bible to answer accurately life’s toughest questions. “The Theology of the Bible” is a study that begins with basic information concerning the Scriptures, then soon turns to the theological foundations of the Bible. While dealing with such subjects as the inspiration, interpretation, preservation and the application of the Scriptures, you will also hear persuasive evidence for why we believe the Bible to be “God’s revelation of Himself to man” and “a perfect treasure of divine instruction.” (Baptist Faith & Message, Article I, The Scriptures)

The Power of Prayer

Mark Harris

Prayer is a vital part of the Christian walk, but often times we don’t emphasize prayer as much as we would scripture reading or serving with your local church. In this session, we will look at several prayers in scripture and discover the power of praying the Word.

Bible Timeline

Steve Laughman

The Bible is filled with so many events and often times it can be overwhelming for us as we try and look at when it happened in history. In this session, we will look at the order of biblical events in history and see how everything points to Jesus Christ.

Walking with God- What we can learn from Moses

Monte McCall

Have you been walking with God? God desires us to walk and have fellowship with him. God wants to walk with us before he works through us. What can we learn about walking with God from the story of Moses.
