Michael Barnes is a graduate of Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While serving part time as a minister of music and youth, Michael felt God preparing him for fulltime ministry. Thus he accepted the call and was ordained into the Gospel ministry in 1998. Now 10 years later he continues to serve here with us as Student Pastor and is also the Campus Minister at Gordon College through the Georgia Baptist Convention. He and his wife,Tami, have two beautiful children, Caleb and Lucy.
